Mobilize, share, act together for research
Solidarity events and collections allow everyone — individuals, associations, companies — to transform a moment of life, a collective project or a personal challenge into concrete support for research conducted at the Pasteur Institute of Lille.
Creating a solidarity event means uniting people around a cause of general interest and contributing, on one's own scale, to the scientific advances of today and tomorrow.
What is a solidarity fundraising campaign?
A solidarity fund is a collection of donations, online or on the occasion of an event (death, birthday, farewell party, sporting challenges…), created on the initiative of a person or a group, to support a cause that is close to their heart.
It allows you to easily mobilize your network — relatives, colleagues, friends — around a common project.
Each participant can:
- give the amount of your choice,
- to remain anonymous if he wishes,
- benefit from a 66% tax reduction.
The funds raised are entirely donated to the Pasteur Institute of Lille and contribute to the financing of research and public health actions.
You want to create an online fundraising campaign:
You have already organized or wish to organize a fundraiser for an event (funeral collection, family event, etc.):
In the context of a funeral, a solidarity collection allows for a collective donation to be made, in remembrance of the deceased, their personal commitment or in compliance with their last wishes.
The fundraising campaign can also be launched in conjunction with a sporting challenge. Some original initiatives have emerged in recent years: Connected challenges, virtual events, multi-day challenges… which can be adapted to all practices (Running, cycling, walking, swimming, individual or team challenges…
These are all formats that allow for combining personal commitment and support for research.
What if you organised a charity event?
A solidarity event gives a collective and committed dimension to a personal or professional initiative.
It allows to :
- raising awareness among those around you about health and research issues,
- to create a positive dynamic around a unifying project,
- to take concrete action, in addition to individual donations.
Artists, musicians, writers, creators…
It is possible to use one's talent to support research through:
- charity concerts
- sales of artworks,
- publications or artistic projects.
These initiatives give unique visibility to the cause and create a strong link between culture, commitment and science.
Associations, local authorities, and businesses can organize fundraising events by mobilizing their members, volunteers, or employees:
- sporting or cultural events,
- internal awareness-raising actions
- collective challenges or one-off operations.
These steps are fully in line with a logic of social responsibility and collective commitment.

Cycling rage – charity cycling tour

A Tulip for Cancer - Planting and selling tulips to benefit cancer research by the Lion's Aire-sur-la-Lys Club

They run for research - Annual internal challenge of solidarity kilometers traveled by employees d'Acaly
