Leveraging scientific expertise to act as closely as possible to the public
Health professionals and social workers are on the front line to support people, prevent risks and reduce health inequalities.
At the Pasteur Institute in Lille, we work by your side, in support of your practices, to strengthen prevention actions through recognized scientific expertise, concrete tools and a detailed knowledge of field realities.
Complex and cross-cutting prevention challenges
The evolution of health needs, the increase in chronic diseases, social insecurity, and the emergence of new health risks reinforce the key role of health professionals and social workers.
Prevention helps, in particular, to:
- to intervene upstream, before the onset or worsening of pathologies
- supporting populations sometimes far removed from the healthcare system
- to promote smoother and more equitable healthcare pathways
- linking health, social issues and prevention in a comprehensive approach
We develop prevention actions designed as additional resources to your professional practice.
