F.A.Q
Unless specifically authorized by the center's doctor, vaccines from outside are not accepted.
This rule ensures strict adherence to the cold chain and the safety of vaccinations carried out within the Centre.
It is recommended to plan for:
- at least 1 month before departure for a typical trip,
- more time for expatriation, a trip around the world or a humanitarian mission.
This allows us to anticipate vaccination schedules, as some vaccines require several injections or a delay before becoming effective.
No, consultations and the majority of vaccines carried out as part of a trip are not reimbursed by Health Insurance.
On the other hand, some mutual insurance companies may cover all or part of the costs, including pharmacy expenses related to vaccination.
We advise you to contact your health insurance provider before coming to the center.
For up-to-date and reliable information, you can consult the following websites:
- Vaccination Information Service
- Ministry of Solidarity and Health

The Centre's recommendations are also based on those of the High Council for Public Health.
An international vaccination certificate, particularly for yellow fever, may be required:
- during customs clearance,
- for obtaining certain visas.
In case of loss:
- Contact the center where the vaccination was administered to request a duplicate.
- If the vaccine was administered at the International Vaccination Centre of the Pasteur Institute in Lille, please contact our secretariat.
