Since the beginning of the health crisis in March 2020, the Pasteur Institute of Lille has been at the forefront of the health challenges, mobilizing extensively on all fronts against COVID-19. A clinical trial was initiated to test the efficacy of clofoctol in the treatment of COVID-19. Delays in obtaining authorizations have caused significant difficulties in recruiting volunteers, as the clinical trial began when recruitment opportunities were drastically reduced by the necessary and massive vaccination campaign.
