An international consortium reports two new genes, some rare mutations of which greatly increase the risk of developing the Alzheimer's diseaseThis work was led by two French teams headed by Gaël Nicolas ((PU-PH in genetics) et Jean-Charles Lambert ((Inserm Research Director) and by a Dutch team. They offer a better understanding of the genetic mechanisms of the Alzheimer's disease and open up new avenues of research with models vitro et in vivo more relevant. These results could also lead to new strategies in therapeutic research. These results were published in November 2022 in the journal Nature Genetics.
